By Justin Reeves [geekusa79@hotmail.com] - This was the first time I have ever seen these guys and let me tell you, this show was the greatest thing I have ever beheld. I had my younger brother with me, (I am 18 he is 12) and we were in the front. They finally came on and started out with a cover song from def leopard. It was great, but my brother and I were being crushed by a tidal wave of people, so during the next song (Everlasting Gaze) we high tailed it out of the death trap and to a safe distance. It was impossible to keep track of the order in which they played so here is the list of songs anyway: I am one, crush, Cherub Rock, Today, Mayonaise, Blew Away, (that was one of the best songs...james is a stud, an extra long version of Bullet with butterfly wings, X.Y.U., Muzzle (acoustic), To Sheila(acoustic), eye of the morning, stand inside your love, wound (which James entitled brine shrimp during a weird story he told) try try try, heavy metal machines, blue skies bring tears, crying tree of mercury,! and they ended with drowned. I put these songs in actual release order since it was easier to remember it that way. Billy put us on a digital cam which he said was going to end up on their website. They talked with us for like 10 minutes during their second encore. It was so funny. James told us about the movie "you've got mail" then he said, I hate it, it makes me mad! and then he slammed his microphone and stand to the floor, it was sweet!

oops I messed up a bit, I sent you an incorrect review. The track listing was a bit messed up but here it goes again... in no particular order since I can't remember...I was having too good a time.

They talked with the croud and put us on a digital camera that billy said would be on their site soon. James and Billy are hillarious! When billy brought out the camera everyone threw their arms up and cheered...but billy said, "no no no I want you to look like your not having fun, put your arms down and looked depressed." "Look out there, our fans are having a bad time, there is one of our fans giving us the finger." Then when the croud surfing got a bit out of hand he said, "let's take a vote. all those for croud surfing? (loud cheer) All of those for no croud surfing, (louder cheer). " all right then, no more croud surfing or you'll get kicked out...it isn't 1991 anymore. The show was loud, the songs were emotional, and this new extended ending to bwbw is great! I was totally caught off guard when they started playing old stuff and the fact that they only played one song off of adore was surprising too. (I personally would have like to hear perfect and ava adore instead of ! mercury and blue skies, but hey, what ya gonna do?)
